Utilizing a highly sensitive timing system with internal tungsten-filled chambers that reduce vibration and focus energy more efficiently, the ProKennex Kinetic Energy technology protects players from harmful impact forces and creates the most efficient energy transfer from paddle to ball.
The micro-tungsten beads are embedded in the paddle’s perimeter, absorbing impact vibration before it has a chance to travel from the paddle up your arm and into the soft tissues in your joints.
Due to the extreme power and pop of the Black Ace, we felt it obligatory to add an additional kinetic system in the handle of the paddle, enhancing the paddle with one extra layer of filtration of shock, torque and vibration. The tungsten beads within the kinetic system are now viewable through the end cap of the paddle.
An independent study by MIT Labs found that the ProKennex’s Kinetic system reduced vi bration by 43% causing significantly less damage to the arm.

I have been using the 1st Black Ace paddle for a year and love it. Was going to buy another one. But saw the XF version. I like the shorter handle as it is better for my wrist. I do enjoy the bigger sweet spot. I see the difference in action. Of course, continue not having any elbow pain since I switched to Prokennex paddles. Thank you!

I originally bought the Prokennex spin paddle and sent it back. From the first time I used the black Ace I knew it was for me. Love the feel in my hand. No sore arm after playing! Love it

This paddle is a bit heavier than the Pro Flight and is a bit longer too. Body had to get used to it for a day. With this paddle I can place the balls better, hit more slice and top spin and the sweet spot is a lot bigger than the Pro Flight because the paddle is heavier. I like it a lot for both my power and placement game.

My overall experience was excellent. The ordering process on-line was seamless. I received concise, clear updates regularly from Prokennex (on delivery time); my only recommendation is to assist in the cross-border delivery. I had to ship the paddle to my friend's place in Bellingham, WA, rather than my destination in Vancouver. I love the daily tutorials from Steve Dawson. I am looking forward to playing him at some point in my career. Thanks again - Love the paddles. I'm a Selkirk - Air convert.
